Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, described in the press as rising star within Democratic Party politics, is set to headline a Nashville abortion event and fundraiser in June, it was reported Monday.
A website advertising the Tennessee Freedom Circle event reveals Beshear will appear with “survivor and advocate, Hadley Duvall,” for the “Championing Reproductive Freedom” event on June 21.
The Tennessee Freedom Circle is a pro-abortion group that claims to facilitate connections between attorneys to “advance reproductive freedom” while informing lawmakers of their goals.
Online, the group confirmed, “Tennessee Freedom circle is proud to announce an upcoming event featuring Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky,” before specifying, “[t]he event will focus on reproductive freedom and the politics surrounding the issue.”
General admission tickets for the event are $100, while the pro-abortion group charges $500 for “Host” tickets and $1,000″ for “Chair” tickets.
Beshear previously raised eyebrows in Tennessee in 2020, when he warned citizens of Kentucky against traveling to the Volunteer State due to its less restrictive COVID-19 policies.
“If you ultimately go down over that border and go to a restaurant or something that’s not open in Kentucky, what you do is you bring back the coronavirus here in Kentucky,” Beshear said in March 2020.
In June of the same year, Beshear was present at the Kentucky Capitol for the removal of a statue of Jefferson Davis, the former President of the Confederate States of America, who was born in Kentucky.
Beshear nonetheless won reelection in November 2023, securing a five-point victory over his Republican challenger, former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
Following his 2023 victory, The Hill reported Beshear’s “profile has skyrocketed nationally,” and reported that political strategists have speculated he could leverage his gubernatorial experience for higher office.
Beshear will appear at the Tennessee Freedom Circle event following the failure of a bill that would have protected in vitro fertilization. The legislation was filed following an Alabama Supreme Court ruling which allowed a ban on in vitro fertilization.
The fertility treatment remains legal in Tennessee, but the pro-abortion group nonetheless told Axios it was “educating and engaging with lawmakers across the political spectrum” after the bill was defeated.
While abortion advocates have highlighted the Alabama ban, former President Donald Trump in February declared his support for continued access to in vitro fertilization. The former president wrote, “Under my leadership, the Republican Party will always support the creation of strong, thriving, healthy American families.”

I remember when there were many pro life Democrats, so many that when Obamacare was being pushed, Obama had to scramble with executive orders to assure them that abortion would not be funded in order to get their votes. Back then, they rightly recognized that unborn children should have their rights, as in the 5th Amendment, protected the same as all persons.
Frankly I would like to fund and help all the communist demons wishing to terminate bringing their shit genes into this world. It will save us all ammo in the long run. It’s not God fearing conservatives offing their children.
